EVE Takes the Stage at the Western Cape Infrastructure Ministerial Roundtable
The Psychedelic Theatre brought EVE, one of our signature roaming performance characters, to the inaugural Western Cape Infrastructure Ministerial Roundtable, one of the most prestigious stages we have had the privilege of performing on.
The Roundtable brought together leaders from national, provincial and local government, the diplomatic community, business, organised labour, development finance, academia and civil society to focus on the future of infrastructure delivery in the Western Cape.
As part of the launch, the Province introduced EVE, its AI Infrastructure Assistant. The Psychedelic Theatre translated that digital idea into a live character experience: EVE moved through the room in an interactive roaming performance before appearing in a stage presentation, giving guests a memorable human encounter with the technology being unveiled.
In a post-event message, Provincial Minister of Infrastructure Tertuis Simmers described the Roundtable as a “world-class engagement” and said the introduction of EVE “blew everyone’s mind away”.
EVE shows what becomes possible when a performance is designed around an event’s message rather than added as an afterthought.
