A Mamma Mia-Inspired Island Celebration at The Campus, Bryanston

The Psychedelic Theatre created a bespoke Mamma Mia-inspired roaming performance for a private event at The Campus in Bryanston, turning a 60-minute guest experience into an island celebration built around sparkle, dance and playful participation.

Guests were welcomed by the Island Host and two Sparkle Stylists, who opened the experience with festival glitter, face gems, feather accessories and playful golden-microphone interviews. The characters then became Island Muses, using colour, dance and flow props to draw willing guests into simple movement and photo moments. The performance followed three playful missions: add the island sparkle, teach the guests an island dance and find the people with the greatest party spirit. Once the missions were complete, the characters reunited for a short celebratory finale. This was not an off-the-shelf act. The characters, storyline, interactions and performance structure were developed specifically for the client’s island-themed private event. It is an example of how The Psychedelic Theatre can create a completely bespoke performance around a venue, theme and audience.
